How are your drawings created?

With good old fashioned pen and paper. And a lot of patience!! Each drawing has been hand drawn by me in the studio. (Usually with the support of Netflix, Disney+, Apple Podcasts, iTunes and my questionable DVD collection!) Because of the amount of detail involved, they take hours and hours of work and each one is a labour of love.

I've been asked a couple of times if I've used a drawing machine such as an old school CNC plotter type thing. I had no idea what they were until someone asked. But nope, no machines, it's all hand drawn!

Is your art Zentangle?

Nope! It’s just my authentic style as a lifelong doodler and detail freak! Zentangle is a similar idea but usually contained to simple boxes and used as a mindful exercise. Lovely and all, but not my art. 

Do you do Custom work / Commissions?

Do you ship internationally?

I’m not offering international shipping at the moment I’m afraid! But I do have plans to in the future so keep an eye out 🌏

I have sensitive ears. What kinds of studs do you use on your earrings?

All of my earring studs and posts are made of either surgical steel, gold plated stainless steel or Rhodium plated stainless steel. I hope to make the upgrade to Sterling Silver & Gold Fill in the future. 

As an aside, I have highly sensitive ears and wear almost exclusively sterling silver or gold in my ears, however I haven't had any problems with any of these ear posts. Each listing states the post type used also 👍🏼

What happened to Ellie Oskar?

Ellie Oskar was the old name for the business. It was a name I had made up off the cuff years ago and I decided that I wanted to change the name to Kilo Papa Studio to align more with my name and the brand 😊 Ellie Oskar will always have a special place in my heart though✌🏼
